When someone strolls down Main Street in their town or megalopolis they may see restaurants, coffee shops, retail shopping storefronts and maybe much a cinema however they would very rarely see a self-storage facility. Historically self-storage facilities are found on the outskirts of town or more often just outside of town for a number of reasons; zoning, permit availability, land availability, and land pricing. For the purpose of this article we will focus on the final component the value of available land.
