At the commence of October, the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) will capture complete effect in the United Kingdom. The cause for these regulations is quite simple; provide temporary workers the same treatment as directly employed staff with regards to employment conditions and basic working conditions, following a 12 week qualifying period.
