The Silicon Valley venture capitalist Peter Thiel made huge news recently when announcing his Thiel Scholarship that offers $100,000 in financial capital to any young person with a fantastic thought: he really encourages young kids in college to drop outside. The path his thinking went, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg? All these technology superstars went on to constitute their fortune and the fortune of others, dropping outside of college.
