Most code firms do not carry the specialized equipment needed to present their condition at trial, and we often rent our equipment to the clients that hire us for our trial consulting, strategic consulting or trial graphics services. Once in a while, those rare firms that have their own equipment will inquiry if we’ll employ their equipment for trial. While that might seem like a nice cost-saving measure, it’s really a recipe for failure for my firm, and we won’t do it – and it has absolutely nothing to do with money!
