What Is A Lasting Power of Attorney?

While it is a dense subject to reckon about, there may come a age in all our lives when we are no longer able to manage our own affairs, either due to mental, physical or circumstantial reasons. A Lasting Ability of Attorney (LPA) offers the peace of intellect that the decisions you can no longer constitute will instead be made by someone you trust, and can cover everything from financial affairs to medical treatment. Lasting Powers of Attorney came into existence in October 2007 under the Mental Capacity Health Act.
