Or there is a lot of talk with regards to some techniques for taking quality pictures. But there is probably none more important then knowing how light affects the photographs you take. First of all there is lighting called hard light. This is the light that comes directly from the sun when it is not obscured. What happens when there is this type of lighting is it can produce very bright spots on the photos. Or it can produce very dark images or spots on some parts of the photos. Next there is a lighting which is termed as soft light. This usually occurs during cloudy days and are usually smooth without too much shadows. You can use this type of lighting to your advantage because they can produce fantastic photos. The main factor for such is it allows the colors to be vibrant and be seen on film. This works very well for commercial type of photos similar to the clients I have worked for in my San Diego commercial photographer service.
Finally, you can take advantage of artificial lighting to shoot your photos. An example of this type of lighting are the lights used in a photo studio. This is good for those family portraits you take because you can control how the picture relates to your lighting. This has served my well in my San Diego event photography service.
