The UK’s Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s most recent survey in April 2011 suggests that more employers are plotting to add to their permanent workforce during the coming year with more than a third suggesting that they would be adding to their existing staff. Shorter term, however, only 23 percent, affirm they are plotting to grow their permanent workforce in the following three months and 64 percent intend to keep numbers static.
