As an employer you have a duty of attention towards your staff. The OSHA guidelines constitute quite specific recommendations as to the actions you should capture. While these recommendations are not legal obligations, it doesn’t capture a abundance of imagination to see how a business could be successfully sued if they hadn’t followed the recommendations and one of their employees died while on the job.
