A terribly packed parcel can cost you dearly, as if you send an item terribly packed and it gets hurt you will not be able to claim. If as a wild example you sent a blaze bulb in just one layer of bubble wrap and no other packaging, it would be unreasonable for you to claim it was down to the parcel courier that it had got broken in transit. You will be charged by your parcel courier against a pricing matrix that takes into account both the parcels weight as well as its amount.
