Acquiring fresh and improved military equipments is a demand no nation can afford to ignore, exceptionally in today’s times, when the threat of global terrorism has assumed such gigantic proportions. However, this expense adds to the burden on the economy. However being a necessity in terms of security of the nation, it can not be dispensed with. Moreover, sustainment of the equipments lead to further economic burden and unlike what most human beings believe, the cost of sustainment may at times, far outweigh the initial cost of procurement of the equipments.
