For nearly eight years I have been repaying money to Social Security. The Department has not told me in respect of the completion of my first repayment, nor can it find the records of these payments. Repayments have been continuing monthly for since 2004. No section of the department can accurately assess the money paid to it, or the money placed in my account on a monthly basis. I have questioned for figures on monthly payments to me, which are to be checked against the amounts deposited. My effort to straighten this outside has gone from the State Representative, to the Governor’s office, the Maryland Dept of Social Security, the Fresh Jersey Social Security Office and the Pennsylvania (Stroudsburg office) and none of these facilities can find my records.
